That Brahmin later became Theiya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a legend that once upon a time, the Rana goddess Puthya Bhagavati was traveling with Bhadrakali and a Brahmin was bathing in a pond by the wayside, and the bloodthirsty Puthya Bhagwati befriended the Brahmin who was carrying Taliparamappan Neiyamrita and later lifted the head of the Brahmin and drank his blood.
