A\u00a0father and mother<\/strong>\u00a0prayed to\u00a0Lord Agni<\/strong>\u00a0for the blessing of a child. The father lit a fire, offered\u00a0ghee<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Ashtagandha<\/strong>\u00a0(sacred scent), and performed\u00a0Agnihoma<\/strong>\u00a0with deep devotion. Their sincere prayers were answered, and with the blessings of\u00a0Agni Bhagavan<\/strong>, the mother gave birth to a child \u2014 a\u00a0golden boy<\/strong>, radiant and glowing like a flame in fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time passed peacefully. When the boy turned 14 years old<\/strong>, he realized he was a divine gift from Lord Agni<\/strong>. With this realization, the boy became deeply devoted to Agni and wished to perform Agnihoma<\/strong> himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He built a homakunda<\/strong> (sacred fire pit) and began meditating on Agni Bhagavan<\/strong>. When Agni appeared before him, the boy expressed his desire to merge with the fire<\/strong>. Responding to his devotion, Lord Agni lit a massive fire<\/strong> in Udayakula<\/strong>, blazing high as a mountain. He bound the child\u2019s limbs<\/strong> with silver and gold chains<\/strong>, tying him to Astakulam<\/strong>, a sacred direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then Lord Agni spoke:
\u201cYou are not a child who should be merged in the fire. Go join in\u2026\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hearing this, the boy\u2019s hands and feet weakened<\/strong>, and before he could blink, he was absorbed into the mighty fire<\/strong> rising from Udayakula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Lord Agni looked into the fire, he witnessed a breathtaking and divine transformation<\/strong>. The child had now become a being of great wisdom, age, and penance<\/strong> \u2014 no longer a boy, but a ferocious divine figure<\/strong>, holding a Kelipatra<\/strong> (sacred staff), a golden cane<\/strong>, and a golden poonool<\/strong> (sacred thread), crowned with a golden crown<\/strong> on his forehead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His form was adorned with a braid on the head<\/strong>, a circle of fire around his neck<\/strong>, flowers in his mane<\/strong>, and hair decorated with blossoms<\/strong>. The sight was so magnificent that even three crore gods<\/strong> showered divine flowers in reverence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lord Agni blessed him and sent him to Earth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One important note:
If you tie your hair<\/strong>, and then leave it untied after a long time<\/strong>, that marks the beginning of a sacred journey<\/strong>. The hair is significant<\/strong>. Before the hair, there is the maleri<\/strong> (possibly a forehead mark), and the eyeball<\/strong> holds meaning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This deity is considered Sivamsha Sambhutan<\/strong> \u2014 born of Shiva\u2019s essence<\/strong> \u2014 yet also radiates Vaishnava brilliance<\/strong>, uniting the divine qualities of both deities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
